No More Silence Fight for Medical Justice

Change for the Future
Justice for the Wronged
My name is Kevin Gammell, a self-employed Limerick native who believes strongly in fairness, balance, and justice. Prior to becoming self-employed, I worked as a healthcare assistant at UHL Hospital in Limerick for three years.
During my time in the A&E department, I witnessed two patients tragically lose their lives during shift handovers due to empty oxygen tanks. In those critical moments, nurses would call on me for help, and I would rush to provide oxygen. Over a period of three months, I witnessed three similar incidents, two of which were fatal. After the last incident, where the patient survived, I expressed my concerns directly to the doctors in charge.
I decided to leave the hospital on strong principles. I fell prey to a medical negligence incident short after and found no closure or a fair independent report. This sunk me deeply and I would like to help those who were or are heading in that direction with their losses financially physically, emotionally and psychology with finances to support resources and compensation.
My goal now is to support others who find themselves in similar situations—those who have suffered losses due to medical negligence, whether financial, physical, emotional, or psychological. I want to provide them with the resources and compensation they deserve.
This was the last stray for me and I left the hospital that very week.
